The last few weeks we have been discussing different ways for you to improve your credit score. It is easy to get caught up in your credit scores, miss a few payments and start to see your scores drop. Yet, all hope is not lost! You can utilize the many strategies within the negotiation method to get those scores to improve. 

There are 2 different negotiation strategies within the negotiation dispute method. The key is to remember everything is negotiable and go into it with a good mindset. Prices can be adjusted, revised, and remade. Develop the proper attitude and do not be afraid to ask for what you want without fear of rejection.

The Logical Strategies

This strategy is most likely utilized by professionals. People that have no personal ties to the outcome, like attorneys and people speaking on your behalf are the most likely to be using this method. They use strict logical and straight forward thinking to have a successful negotiation. 

The Human Strategy

If you are doing the negotiation yourself then you are utilizing the human strategy. Since you are invested in the outcome you should be using your emotions to your advantage. Appeal to your human creditors by asking for their help. Tell them why you need the items removed and how they can help you achieve your goals and dreams. 

Be confident when it comes to writing to creditors! They are people too and can be swayed by both logic and emotions, so it is your job to use those to your advantage. Ask for more than you’d be happy with and fight for what you want.
